My wife flicked water at me from the pool last week, I didn't want to go in and I didn't like getting water splashed on me.

If I call the police will she be charged? Or let's say I did the same thing to her, would I be charged?

Serious question for the legal people on here?

It's a sad state of our society when a question like this that's meant to be tongue in cheek is a serious question.

if you were an NRL player and the pigs thought they could get a headline they'd probably charge you with attempted murder for trying to drown her

Sure is. I suspect I would be charged but she wouldn't.

I understand she probably felt intimidated but of all the things that could happen to someone in a heated argument, having something poured on you seems unusual to be charged for.

Is that really what the court system should be clogged up with?

Ffs Kenny!

At least it appears he emptied the drink out of it's container, unlike some other footy players (allegedly). But still...

Article memtioning the sack seems over the top, unless Kenny's on his last warning.

Not sure what this means for the future of Kenny at Parra if he's been warned a few times.

Would be a huge loss.

Still none of us would complain if someone poured water on us today.

Why do the pigs want a headline? Not sure I am keeping up with the latest conspiracy.

Are the police out to tarnish the NRL? And who's been stealing your thoughts?

Spitting or throwing a drink on someone is battery but it depends on "intent" IIRC.

Spitting fair enough but pouring a drink on someone? I class it as juvenile not assault. It happens every weekend I'm sure of it. If the glass followed then ok charge him. Hopefully he won't get his contract ripped up.

It would depend on the intimidation factor if you read the article as he was charged with intimidation as well, but I'm no legal eagle.

Disgusting if true, domestic violence is no laughing matter and if found guilty the club and police should throw the water bottle at him.
