And all the hype about the great strides we keep making in this area year after year. But nothing. I'm at a loss. Even with mismanagement, with the amount of juniors we have, time we spend developing them and money we spend on all our programs, you would think our success rate would somehow be better?

What a total waste. We must have some A-grade nongs overseeing all of it. Total waste of time and money. I've said it before, we would do so much better if we just gave up and implemented the Roosters model and just pilfered the best of the best juniors.

Though with origin selection can be a bit of boys club. We aren't in the boys club with Fittler & Alexander.

But at same time there isn't anyone outside of Reg who we bought from Penrith that has been hard done by.

That’s because you can just buy them when you need them. We got Sivo out of reserve grade ffs. And Penisini goes well for his age. He is 20 years old. That’s the age where you might be thinking about a player’s potential. Blake was 24 when we signed him. There was no upside.
