At his best I would have loved to have had Brown but last 2 seasons let's be honest he was pretty shit.

Watched him in cup he looked unfit most likely because he was coming back from injury. Funny though how BA is playing Dunster now when he looks unfit...

It's all speculation at the moment who knows if Hook spoke with Lomax and if BA spoke with Brown ..

Of those I’ll give you Wighton, Haas, Murray & Paulo (consistent but?) as already reaching that level and Yeo & Too will. I’ll also give you Turbo, Chin & Cook (he was developed more at Souths) from 2018. You tell me which of the other 17 (which would coincidentally equate to one per NRL side) are going to reach that standard? Or which players that are yet to be selected will reach that standard?

That’s because you can just buy them when you need them. We got Sivo out of reserve grade ffs. And Penisini goes well for his age. He is 20 years old. That’s the age where you might be thinking about a player’s potential. Blake was 24 when we signed him. There was no upside.

Why use State of Origin as a metric?

Brown cant play state of Origin.
