Him and Hands at dummy half is good enough. They don't offer a lot but they don't need to.

But they need Old Man River coming off after 20mins of the first half - and then a coach who'll be able to sense from game conditions and context whether Hands comes off or continues at the 60mins mark (rather than some pre-destined destiny of the multiple water bottles).

On this season a lot also comes down to form.
I said I expect Matterson to come back and kill it. He has. He is our best forward no ifs or buts. A slow start to his Parra career but now he is killing it.
Hopgood goes ok. I reckon he is a bit hot and cold but. He isn’t a superstar but a good honest player.
RCG prior to injury also excellent.

After that the pack drops off. Jnrs forms been very ordinary as has Lanes since back. Bryce has been very good but he isn't a star. The rest are toilers. Indont expect much from them.

Halves have been fair. Gutherson and Penisini excellent. Sivo gets a pass as does Simmonson. But hardly anything great.
Other backs have been ordinary. While Hodgsons been well below NRL level. He would be in the bottom 4 hookers in comp.

I think Hopgood has regressed in the past month , will b honest, but no more
