I do too but the place is toxic from the Board down...the place stinksI think the Lomax issues at the Dragons will solve themself once the coach is punted.

we could do with a bit of pre game readiness instead of posing for the cameras and making sure their hair isn't out of placeWell I recall Moses said this during the WC.

We're not allowed to laugh until you say "allegedly"
Davey made 40 tackles in Canberra and missed one ffs. He was the least of our problems.Agree 100%. Bryce is in career form. Doorey is young and learning. Daveys an honest toiler blocking pathways

WTF are you on about? Most teams are good enough to make the eight. Not all of them can though, so the ones who do will be the ones with the most luck.Oh so you do admit the coach is sh*t. We won't be making the eight. Finally. Your mask is slipping.
BA breaks Brian Smith games record as coach in a few weeks on Kings Birthday public holiday against Dogs. Can we not have anymore milestones last weekend it was Matto and 150 games enough we lose them all!
No I think if we don't re-sign Moses we'll have heaps of cap space for 2024, and even if we do keep Moses we'll have plenty for 2025:You are amazing. You don't ever think we have enough money in the kitty to sign quality
All those current Origin players. Massive failureImagine NOT MAKING THE TOP 8 with this squad.
We have one of the best and most experienced spine in the competition. Two of the best props. A gun 2nd rower, One of the best locks in game.
It would be a HUGE FAILURE
They will be unfit ffs!!!limiting people like JNR,MATTOS,LANES minutes so we have them fresh for next season
On the edges yes, but not in the middle. Making first contact and bouncing off a merkin but slowing him for other defenders is better than not attempting the tackle at all.You lose games because of the tackles you miss (or don't even get into a position to make), not because of the ones you make.
This is a bad argument because you’re reducing players to origin players and non origin players like non origin players are automatically worth less. For example Luai is a current origin player but I’d rather have Dylan Brown or Nicho Hynes ahead of him any day. Take a look at what we have instead of reducing things to such overly simplistic metrics. All those current Origin players. Massive failure
Well Penrith also have James Fisher-Harris, who is ineligible for Origin, plus Kikau in previous years, so it all comes out in the wash. They had those two PLUS all the Origin players. Plus Dylan Edwards and whomever else wouldn't be out of place in an Origin jersey. Just because they had a bunch of Origin players doesn't mean they didn't also have merkins who were good-enough-but-ineligible (like Drown) or good-enough-if-lucky (like Gutherson). The head count of Origin players just reflects the reality. This is a bad argument because you’re reducing players to origin players and non origin players like non origin players are automatically worth less. Mate not sure if you have noticed but Parra are only two wins ahead of the Tigers. But not at the Tigers.
So you agree that the number of origin players shouldn’t be used as the sole metric when commenting on the quality of a teams roster? There’s a reason we had to let go of so many players last season to keep this current roster. Not making the finals with this roster would be a massive failure.Well Penrith also have James Fisher-Harris, who is ineligible for Origin, plus Kikau in previous years, so it all comes out in the wash. What other metric can you offer other than your subjective opinion? Number of Origin players is a great heuristic. Another is pre-season premiership odds.So you agree that the number of origin players shouldn’t be used as the sole metric when commenting on the quality of a teams roster?
Yes, they came off contract and would no longer be on unders. Replacing them with other players on unders isn't something you can reliably do just by going to market. Mahoney, Kaufusi and Niukore were on unders because we developed them over multiple years. Hopgood is a decent acquisition comparable to Papali'i but the others are journeymen or youngsters who require the development afforded to Mahoney et al.There’s a reason we had to let go of so many players last season to keep this current roster.
I think an average amount of luck would see us finish in the bottom of the eight, while an above average amount would be top four. Therefore a below average amount of luck quite easily includes missing the eight. IMO of course. Not making the finals with this roster would be a massive failure.
