i was at the opening game v the titans last year and i had a fella in front of me who had eaten more meat pies then what jake had scored tries.

Sorry but how has this ended in tears? Jake gets a pathway forward in first grade that wasn't available to him here, and we get Jake playing for another team. Isn't that what everyone wanted?

Biggest issue for me is that we are now short on halves backup - but if a miracle happens and the rumour is true about Tracey then it's celebration time.

Im sure BA, Jake and family have shed many tears over this decision.

BA deserves all the criticism over this not Jake.

Probably moreso than anyone else, but I recall an old article that was posted on here a few years ago, where BA was interviewed about having Jake on the bench and his response was that he preferred him in the cup team as he wasn't ready for the NRL yet, and he went on to say that his 2 assistants thought that JA was the best option on the bench. I recall at the time Mitch was carrying an ankle injury but still playing.

I guess ultimately it's BA's call as I would imagine he has the final say.
