Connor Tracey would make an awesome centre pairing with Penisini if true... would this be for remainder 2023, or from 2024 onwards I wonder? Can't see why he'd leave Sharks mid-year this season for us...

Because they have Talakai to come back into the centres and there's no room for him in the halves with Moylan and Hynes. We on the other hand could slot him into the centre or even wing if we needed to.

Simply put more chance of an NRL role more permanently.

So you think it’s good business to move on a 19 year old halfback who is still learning to play agst men , rather than stay at his current club playing some NRL games as needed.

Not sure you would be suggesting this if it was Penrith, it’s certainly a decision to be made, rushing young players into NRL isn’t necessarily the best for his future. As long as there is a path set out, then he can work over a couple of years to take control etc.
