Therefore you don’t need to bring in another minimum salary player and can front load another contract in order to help pay for Frizell in subsequent years.

Because Joffa would still be classified as being in your top 30 due to the money he's already been paid. You don't have to replace him with another player this year. You can use that spare money (the rest of his contract) for next year.
