I don’t think it’s good for the club to have a backup player booed by its fans. It’s a bad look when the sponsors can so obviously see what thickshits the fans are.

I go to home games and sit with the rest of the rabble. Yes I heard some boos once maybe twice for Jake but the majority of the boos were for BA. Again The Media grabbed it and produced click bait forever.
During Mitch's protracted contract negotiations there were boos for him as well. Waqa copped it most weeks. Also Gutho during his contract dramas. All opposition players cop it.
Its part of the footy supporters mentality. Go visit Penrith Park sometime.

We were getting JOffa, and they were getting Jirah Momoisea

Unfortunately they watched Momo play and not only is the deal off, but they have blocked our number.
