Just a shame he’s looked bog average where and when it’s mattered. When a door closes another opens. We will be better for this.
I think a rookie at 1 will disappoint you greatly. But what is done is done. Are we better off ? No, as @Poupou Escobar said, we lose Mitch and no merkin in the club can kick long. Put Gutho in the 6 or 7 and in attack we'll be fine, however you'll miss him at the back so bad.

I'm complaining about how our bald coach portrays himself in the media though, not the relative strength of our roster.

I hear you, but I’m not looking too much into it. I mean we could be well and truly negotiating the release of a player from another club. And ba could be quiet about it to not jeopardise the deal. Who knows.

I'm sure sounding like a dope to the media is whats best for the club.
Would you prefer that he throws Asi or Sanders under the media bus ? He knows what he's doing. He puts it on himself and Gutho. If you freeze the play there - he did the same with the x-factor thing.

first of all, if we lose Mitch it’s season over, even if ja was on board still.

secondly, someone said if we lose Mitch we play to our strengths, and if we need to adjust
Our game a little to suit, so be it.

Cool. Not going to lie, it's a tad surreal having a conversation with you where you're saying it's OK that we don't actually have a #2 half back in the club and you think we're better off that way. Good for you backing the club I guess.

Lol Asi is 22, and played almost 20 first grade games. Sanders is injured and miles away from first grade. Gee you dribble some shit, anything to defend Sir Baldalot.

Well I never rated ja. Is that a crime? I found it strange that he was fast tracked to grade, not surprised thou. Moving forward, I’m sure we’ll recruit or promote another player. Hopefully one that can fill in when needed.

Huh ? BA was asked who would play half if mitch or dylan went down.

Asi will be head bin guy this week. What are you are you arguing for ?

You are an odd one.

You claim to take little notice of Parramatta - yet you post in here more than me!

You also seem determined to prove that Stefano made the right move in going to the Tigers and his career has developed in an exponential contrast to what would have happened at Parramatta....what is it you are trying to theorise? That the tigers have been a better club for Stefano? Tha the tigers were the right club for Stefano to chase success and rep jerseys? That Stefano has flourished at the Tigers?

The fact is that the kid is an absolute undeniable talent and it is the boundless promise of that talent alone that has seen him attain rep jerseys.

However, it is also factual to state the following:

1) He has not always been a guaranteed starter in his Tigers career;
2) His development has been somewhat sporadic at the Tigers;
3) in the three years since he left, parramatta have finished 6th (2nd week finals) and 4th (gf) - Tigers have been 13th and last and mostly diabolical.

Its funny, I actually like the tigers and if I had a second team, they would be it....but boy have the Tigers fans gone off half cocked after that win!

All of a sudden the Tigers fans are looking at their season as some relative success on the back of one spectacular win, the long term effects of which are yet to be parsed.

I have always maintained the Tigers are a potential juggernaut if they ever got there act together on and off the field.

It's beneficial to Parramatta they remain a rabble. But good for the game if they succeed.

If Parra ever play them in a final it would be bigger then the Dogs preliminary final in 2009.

There wouldn't be enough seats at Accor to fit everyone in.

Dragons v Tigers in 2010 got 71k to there prelim.

If Parra played tigers in a prelim or semi it would get 80k plus.

What are you on about? Utoikamanu is on a shitload more than Murchie. If Murchie is on $220k the difference between that and minimum salary is negligible compared to a $12M salary cap.

You're missing the point. What do you reckon a talented junior would cost. And would he be able to of done the same role as Murchie back then.

So right now we probably would of let Jnr go at end of last contract and had Stefano for about 150k less then Jnr and 10yrs of footy left in him.
