@Eelementary I’m not sure how you feel about all this advice thrown at you but from one father to another, just know you’re doing a great job and I hope she gets better soon.

This.
It’s f**king hard, especially when you don’t have much help. But you get through those tough times and you get to look back on it and say “Remember that! How shit was that! So glad we are past it.”

My littlest was sick off and on every few weeks for literally a year. It was so tough, taking time off work, in and out of hospital, getting barely any sleep. We are in a better place now.

@Eelementary i can tell you are a good dad. You’re going to get through this.

I had acid reflux, then I went on a intermittent diet and only eat in a 6 hour window every day, but most days it is actually only 4. Cleared it up overnight and haven't had it ever since. Six, seven years now easy.

I usually only eat between 15:00 hrs and 19:00 hrs. I don't know if this will help your old girl, but maybe it is worth a try if you haven't already gone down this path. I eat whatever I feel like eating too. No real restrictions although I try to limit my sugar intake as much as possible, but lately I have been failing miserably at that. I love to bake.

I do have coffee and tea during the day though otherwise it would be very hard to last till late afternoon without eating. But I'm not a breakfast man anyway so I find it way easy to do really. The trick of course is protein. Meat and fish. Have plenty of that with salads or vegies and I am right as rain. Steer clear of cereals and sugary stuff for breakfast(first meal) and hunger goes totally away. It's the way man was meant to eat I think. Not from a box or waffles and muffins for breakfast. Eggs and meat. Awesome stuff.

I hope that helps.
I don't think you feed a new born like that.

I also had a time when I ate only in a 4 hour windows.
Doctor had no problems with it and maintained a healthy weight.

Hodgson has actually improved over the past few weeks and can do a job for a max 30 min. But only this year. Next year should be his first year of retirement.

He’ll probably string 3-4 good games together and knowing us we’ll exercise a clause to prolong him another year

What tactical change did you suggest? Not leading the line speed?
Not leading the line speed so disjointed from the rest of the line like he was.
Our other middles can’t cover the gaps he was leaving and he isn’t quick enough/good enough tackler to shut the play down when he does.
Also because he was isolating himself and not a good enough tackler, he was giving up dumb penalties or just not getting to marker.
Less is more, we may be giving up a couple of metres on standard runs and maybe forcing less errors, but opponents aren’t carving us through the middle like they were.
But it was certainly a tactical issue, not a form one because that would imply that if Hodgson just stuck with it eventually he’d come good and those large gaps in middle wouldn’t matter. It could happen, but given his physical capability I doubt it.

And yes I was being facetious I know they don’t read my posts. I’m sure they read it in the manifest I mailed to their home addresses but.

Thanks, mate.

She's 4 weeks old, and technically underweight, so we have to feed her every 3 hours.

She's seeing the paediatrician next m9nth, so hopefully, we can get some medicine that helps.

Oh, man - when they're sick like that, it almost breaks you.

My boy spent a 2 month period where he was in hospital every day for croup.

It sucked.

Our babies were both technically underweight (after being born long and fairly heavy) but they turned out fine. Don’t let the child health nurses freak you out. They’re all drama queens. Their job security relies on merkins making repeat visits.
