He has recently stopped getting off the line so quickly, and been less isolated. This has led to an increase in tackle efficiency. He is using his effort in ways that better suit our team, such as kick pressure and getting numbers into the tackle. He’s been good.
If you are looking for positives in Hodgson's game then you are obviously a troll.
Hodgo also went off early with a hip pointer problem. So for all those who interpreted that as hooking him for Hands to have longer game time, nope.

I listened to MMM "saturday scrum" yesterday (podcast). They did a rundown on our game and also interviewed BA. Worth a listen.

But that's not why I'm here. Victor Radley was guest host and he's a bit like cheese and is unfiltered in the way he talks. They were grilling him about his dumb decisions and Tony Squires asked him if he ever felt like his contract was under pressure because of his poor judiciary record. His response was that the club owes him nothing and he owes the club everything and he has the highest respect for coach Robinson and owner Nick.

The more Robbo & Nick keep making excuses for Radley the more he will keep being a dope and end up on the sidelines with stupidity which is completely fine with me.

Dunno if you saw him play in round one but he was very good. Whatever caused his drop in form has happened since then. He was also good against Manly.
It wasn’t a drop in form. He has a weakness that was being exposed. Now that he and BA read my posts:

Hopgood also getting more accustomed to 1sts has also helped.

We also don’t generally know when players are playing injured. It’s often the cause of inexplicable (to us) loss of form.

It was definitely a drop in form. In his first three games he made a line break, scored a try, and set up one of each. Also got a repeat set with his kicking game. The dummy half’s main purpose is as a decision maker in attack.

But the biggest difference between our wins and losses is our completion rate. The more defence we have to do, the more tackles our middle defenders will miss (or not even attempt).
