He signed him from the Sharks, where he won his second premiership.
Even better! not sure why Gould didnt copy this plan.

Someone has to put out the witches hats merkin. Good job Murph!!Murphy is still at the club, merkin. We haven’t replaced anyone, we have increased our coaching staff, no different to the rich clubs. The more coaches you have the more they can focus on their areas of responsibility. With fewer coaches they have more on their plate, and the less attention can be paid to every area. How good was the Bulldogs’ attack under Barrett? How good is their defence under Ciraldo? It’s not about individuals, it’s about resources.

Fair enough. I thought he was very good, I guess others don't share my opinion.Yes, yes he was.....he was brilliant......does MON know how brilliant he was? Does anyone have MON's email?
I thought he signed on for one year only hoping to get a increased offer for next year.Yes he is.
Maybe he was signed on for 2023 and the one year extension was 2024.I don't think he's under contract for next season.
Bring back cheer girlsi could do without those interviews with players coming of the field at half time waste of breath
100% Gus is the master manipulater. No - but he is saying they are in better shape than they were, and everything indicates he is positive about Ciraldo being there and what he has done and the improvement and anticipated results.
Now it is "6 years rebuild and we're crud and I told him not to come here yet"
I've yet to be bothered looking up the comments Gould made when Ciraldo was signed. I bet they contradict his current position.
He is just deflecting heat at the moment, but I doubt he expected to see the Bulldogs being this spineless at this stage of the year.

Deflection and buying more time.
He was almost an elite playmaker in 2021. Pretty good considering how bad his team was.Fair enough. I thought he was very good, I guess others don't share my opinion.
Nothing almost about it, he was elite.....and brilliant......c'mon MON, get er done.He was almost an elite playmaker in 2021. Pretty good considering how bad his team was.

So what are the Tigers' halves options for 2024, having failed to sign Moses, and having let Hastings go last year, Brooks and potentially Doueihi at the end of this year?Nothing almost about it, he was elite.....and brilliant......c'mon MON, get er done.

Is it Laurie and Wakeham, lol?
Benji and Robbie it is then!!Neither Laurie or Wakeham are under Contract for next year.
So seriously, the Tigers have nobody signed to play in the halves in 2024 at the moment, if they let Doueihi go? That seems... problematic?Neither Laurie or Wakeham are under Contract for next year.
