It’s not easy to track. The transaction is but not the recipients. It’s totally anonymous.
It's anonymous until you make an opsec mistake. What can you buy with BTC that allows you to remain anonymous through the entire purchase process? When you do eventually get caught converting your funds to Walmart gift cards or otherwise usable currency (i.e. laundering), your entire transaction history is tied to you:

100% ... tho i think we will eventually lose it - we have no real say .... im actually surprised how many people i have seen using cash recently - even at places like woolies
I was at pub yesterday for lunch and you should have seen the filthy look I got went I want to pay for cash. Every time you used your card they sting you a 1.5% surcharge. Even though using your cards saves them time and money.

You don’t need to convert to fiat if the other party wants the Bitcoin. The transaction is recorded on the blockchain but the recipients details never are.

Now get back to arguing about other stuff that you have a slight clue about you f**king argumentative little imbecile.

hahaha...these poor millennial merkins who are to lazy to use a till.. lol
My old man used to work at the Canterbury Hotel many moons ago. I remember he used to tell stories that the bar would be 10 deep and he’d have to add up everything in his head with the old tills. Imagine them having to do that?, the Twitter meltdowns would be entertaining lol.

Some merkin needs to hurry up and make a square that transfers btc

But even then it needs to still go out to the wider world to be legit. Thats where you get analed by the need for a network to tranfer transactions

I used to think canada was a nice place .... hopefully they come to their senses and piss that merkin off soon. Maybe his newly separated mrs can dump his dirt? Tho she is probably balls deep in it too

Just got back from Canada - its a nice place with beautiful scenary.

But there are parts that are a bit backwards.

There airports are more stuffed then us.

Tipping is basically the same as America maybe a lesser percentage as its minimum 15% but it whacks away at your spending whenever your eating out every day.

They are also more credit card based then debit card which is very annoying. I had to get a credit card as my brother warned me about it as he is living there for 2 years on a visa.

So we went to hire a bike in Banff for a couple of hours to go around town. They wouldn't let us hire a bike without a credit card. Debit card wasn't accepted and even to hold $100 cash wouldn't be accepted. As i wasn't carrying my credit card around everywhere it was more for emergencies when checking into Hotels i kept it locked away.

I think you’re missing the point. Whatever you’re buying potentially de-anonymises you because you need to receive the goods/services in some way.

Obviously some services are easier to maintain anonymity (e.g. having someone killed) than others (e.g. ordering heroin to your girlfriend’s address) but you can’t hide from the state these days. Not forever. And when you’re caught, the forensic accountants will love that you’ve used BTC.

You were the one shoehorning your BS into Avenger’s comment about exchange rates. I just jumped on the one semireasonable but incorrect comment about the AUD being linked to USD. Anyway keep buying up your silver. Need it to fight the werewolves the “system” are going to release soon

Everyone knows that the Vampires are the ones in charge, the werewolves are just anarchist muscle. Jeez you can't even get that right. Silly man.

Except that they can usually trace back to the initial transaction that funded your wallet. Which is normally but not necessarily your bank account.

A today I’ve learned…
-crypto is good
-crypto is bad
-there are some definite experts here!
-the experts can’t agree
-Canada is a bit more shit then when I visited some years ago
-the eels still need some changes
What I learnt today is that California is a big con job. Their beaches have an average of temperature of only 18 degrees in Summer. You can’t f**king swim here or you will eventually get hypothermia.
