Will take a full pre-season to wash that stink off him...Joffa I know can be really good. It's his hesitant running style and arm grabbing when tired. He knows playing with us he's more of chance of at least winning 50% of his games not 15%...might climb to 18% next yr for Tigers..things are looking up..well u can't get any lower...ohhh actually you did. U went from 16th to 17th...Herculean effort

If you are making the point that giving "long tenured" Luke Brooks a BBQ isnt looking after him (which was the point of the discussion), I'd point out that he was paid between $800K & $1.1M over the last three 3 years of his "long (miserable) tenure" at the Tigers. Using Luke Brooks as an example of not being looked after is drawing a "long (tenured)" bow.

ouch.....you got me right in the feels. you really know how to hurt a fella and pointing out that the Tigers have now won successive wooden spoons is devastating.........sure the Tigers didnt cheat the salary cap to win two successive spoons, but its still pretty bad.....

And dropping from 16th to 17th....ouch. That hurts and really demonstrates the slide. I mean its not like we went from GF runners up to 10th, but its still pretty bad.

I follow college football
Nebraska were the best college football teams during the 1990s
They have fallen on hard times
They are something like 5-28 in one score games the last 5-6 years
They keep losing the unlosable
They changed coaches hoping the change would change how they lose close games

Yet they lost another game they should not have

Nebraska did move from the Big 12 to the Big 10 a decade ago. I'd say this has contributed to results on the field not being as strong as they once were.

I think it's similar. They just faced Penrith a week earlier. I think if flipped draws Souths also beat the Cowboys.
I think moving forward Souths are in a worse position. Cook and Walker are getting old. Probably have played their best footy. Ilias hasn't come on like they thought and Latrell seems to create dramas. On top.of that the forward pack just isn't that strong.

The scrutiny should rightly be on this club.

Yeah we have avoided any heat due to the Souths and Bulldogs dramas has allowed the club to slip quietly into the off-season with no scrutiny on it whatsoever.

I think overall the Cowboys have a stronger squad then us. They have about 7 origin players and plenty of international players who have stood up in rep games.

Them missing the finals with a strong home ground advantage as well is just as embarrassing.

They had the wooden spoon Tigers put 66 on them
