Tahus first stint at parra was unbelievable... He was as good as at gets. Lyon at parra was a freak but still so raw. Tahu is the best centre I've seen at parra easily, take in mind I was born in 82 so can't remember seeing Cronin and Ella
Forgot abot the crow. He was big and strong and stood in tackles and offloaded.

Ella was more a supporting centre usually running off a pass from the crow, sterlo or kenny

In todays game i would probably pick tahu mk 1.

seriously guys?...

Lyon shits on T in all aspects of the game imo...

each to their own I guess.
Overall Lyon was more consistent and had a better career but in 2007 Tahu was unstoppable.

It’s a bit like comparing career best Hayne to Slater. I know he’s a an absolute dope for doing what he did to himself but every time I think about it it saddens me. Even when he came back from NFL they had Hayne cam when he played for the Gold Coast.

An example of too much too soon. The biggest fall from grace in Australian sport and it had to come from our club.

I remember watching Manly play one night with a work colleague who was a Manly fan, and this was towards the end of Jamie Lyon's career, and I said to my mate that he was one of the most consistent players I've ever seen. I deadset couldn't remember him making a mistake in his career. Of course he did make some, but I'd wager there weren't many across his NRL career.

He was a classic example of a player whose best game was a 9 out of 10 and his worst was probably a 7. Helluva player

His goal kicking became the same.

Yeah sorry, I’m usually more disciplined when it comes to your baiting. I can do better.
My baiting?? Bahahahahaha don’t flatter yourself sweetheart. The last thing I think I about when I hit post reply is “I wonder what Gronkles thinks”

It’s good to know I am in your head at least lol.

Its why i sort of hope Tommy Turbo doesn't lead Manly to a premiership.

We had a local junior that was once in a generation player that ended up a waste.

For then Manly of all teams to have a gun local junior that could be considered outside of the injuries a once in a generation player lead them to a premiership would hurt even more.
