So Alex Twal may become a free agent... worth a homecoming offer?

Would have been a better buy for you guys than Joffa tbh. About the same impact in attack but MUCH better defence. Great defender. Im not sure that letting him go is a great idea.

You need to get rid of the stench that's been in your joint for the past dozen years.

Twal while serviceable is collateral damage to a losing culture you need to move on.

I see him similar to Tim Mannah might be a nice bloke and all. But part of a losing culture that should be moved on.

We didnt move on Tim quick enough.

I get that 100% and I have no problem with losing Seyfarth on that basis, but Twal does a lot of our tackling. We actually had a very competitive pack this year in a spoon winning team and it would be peak Tigers to replace above average plodders who can tackle with average plodders who cant.

It may actually be a good thing those merkins have been training pretty hard at the moment. It's just the added punches to the head I am not happy with.

I think the NRL will crack down on the boxing soon during NRL careers due to the head injuries.

I can't believe the Eels allow this.
Only takes one punch to result in a broken jaw. What does the club do then?

FFS, he's getting paid a tidy sum to play for the Eels. If he wants to box then he can do it when he's not under contract.

At least he will be fit by the start of the season. Hopefully not recovering from a concussion.

Be careful, that dumb deadshit @chiefy1 will be after you

Pau Pau, there's been keen anticipation to learn the secrets behind your remarkable journey from having Devon and tomato sauce sandwiches for play lunch to your ability to now stroll into any McDonald's establishment and confidently order a Filet-O-Fish with extra cheese and a coke zero.. Your life story promises to be an inspiring tale, and it wouldn't be surprising if a biography about Pau Pau is on the horizon

Twal is OK for a benchie, but we need backs and decent ones, better to save up our pennies

Thanks but no thanks to Twal, however I wouldn't say no to a Tepai homecoming.

I was never a massive fan but he's been really good for Melbourne late in the season. He is still unsigned as far as I know, can play middle or edge, cheap.

Outside backs should be the priority though.

Agree he would've been a better mid-season buy for Parra than Joffa. But what's done is done I guess.

It's a bit of a worrying sign for Wests that more players are being given early Get Out Of Jail cards...

Its why i sort of hope Tommy Turbo doesn't lead Manly to a premiership.

We had a local junior that was once in a generation player that ended up a waste.

For then Manly of all teams to have a gun local junior that could be considered outside of the injuries a once in a generation player lead them to a premiership would hurt even more.

I wouldn't worry about that if I were you.
