It's all about the liability (as much as the NRL tell us about player welfare). If a player gets knocked the f**k out in a boxing ring the NRL is not liable.

And who knows, (and I'm being cynical here) but maybe the NRL are happy for them to box because it makes it harder to prove that league has caused the long term problems when it could have been the punches they copped direct to the head in the ring.

Tahus first stint at parra was unbelievable... He was as good as at gets. Lyon at parra was a freak but still so raw. Tahu is the best centre I've seen at parra easily, take in mind I was born in 82 so can't remember seeing Cronin and Ella

The great Brian Smith turned Tahu from a top shelf winger to the world’s best centre. Tahu before he went to Union was an absolute superstar.
