Sivo still struggling to make yards out of his own end.
Not enough Parra jerseys for mine.

The club should look to get rid of any Parramatta Jerseys they cant get sell and send them over there.

Even if they are from 2-3 years ago

Imagine having 100's of kids walking around in Parramatta Jerseys in Fiji.

We have that connection now with Semi & Sivo we should look to aspire kids over there to want to play for Parra.

Its untapped potential.

Gutherson defense saves us 6 points every game and sometimes 18.
His passing game gives us probably 4 points a game.
He rarely drops a bomb.

Yes he isn't explosive but no need to move him. He is much like Dylan Edwards who gave Walsh a bathe in the grand final

I can't believe people are so easily ready to move Gutho on. Unless we are replacing him with a top 4 or 5 fullback then these comments are insane and Paps in his current injury cloud condition isn't even in the ballpark. Like you said Hindy, his defense is probably the best of all the fullbacks so where players like Walsh score tries Gutho saves them. Besides his attack isn't shabby either he just isn't explosive and id our other back 5 players had more ability he too then would find more opportunities to do what he does best and that is to loom in support as he so often does whenever a break happens. He moments and stats would go through the roof.

That's why all we need is a true speedster like JAC or centre that can sizzle and our backline changes big time in potency. Never underestimate what speed can do for a team. But Gutho is an exception to the rule. We move him from his most effective position we may as well let him go because he is a modern day centres arsehole. Not fast and not overly strong and his superior fitness is lost as an advantage out in the centre where it isn't needed as much. We need explosive and fast centres that cut through that fleeting gap in the line. Gutho can't do that.

So like I said we either get one of the top 4 or 5 fullbacks because he for mine is up there with all of them in his own way or we focus strengthening the two positions we currently are filling with close to reserve grade talent. What do you think the smart cookies would do? Upset the apple cart and move/remove our most consistent player and inspirational captain to purchase a inferior player or if we could manage one of the top 5 probably pay through the nose for him or would they be looking to bring in a winger and or centre that should also be a much cheaper option which would also mean we strengthen the team in every position?

Paps is in my opinion done. Even if he comes back, he will always be a knock away from a concussion or a major leg injury of some kind at the very least. Why would you want to gamble on that? He isn't worth it when there are better ways to strengthen our backline without living with our hearts in our mouths every time he goes into a tackle.

He could stay in England, where he is earning top dollar and being celebrated as the best player in Super League.

Or he could come back to Australia and be a nuffy who gets dominated by opposition players.

I know which one I’d choose.

I do wonder though if he would be a different player today, especially now with all the rule changes and how playmakers mostly play in dinner suits today. Remember he was only a baby playing in a wrestle dominated game of giants back then. The game is so different now and he is way more seasoned, so who knows?

But I don't think it will ever happen while he is at his peak anyway since he is so well paid over there. Pity cos I would love to see how he would go. It wouldn't surprise me if he starred, after all look at the size of Jayden Campbell and to me they are both very similar in the way they have speed, footwork, size and talent when Bevan French first hit the scene.

He was a shocker defensively and it totally disintegrated his game.
I'll never forget one of the last games he played in NRL against Canberra... That nuffy backup half for the Raiders Matt Frawley made a break in to the backfield and Dufty was last man in defence... Frawley had no support with him but still threw a dummy and Dufty took the dummy even though Frawley had no one to pass it to.... He just wanted to bale out on the collision.... He'd have no business with BA's "chase the collision" game plan...
