Personally I think we should have signed Crichton and Farnworth and also the Hammer last year.

Tried Farnworth apparently (great GB player) but only interested in Fins dollars where he'll probably play fullback.

Still not impressed with Emu yet, still tires too easily and tired forwards means poor defence. Look at the grub Nelson, huge man but does twice the work Emu does and good reflexes, Emu slug in comparison. Prefer smaller forward with high output.

I think he's on the same level as Blake Ferguson. So yeah he's a showman and has stuff to say, but is he a huge liability ? Not so sure.

Can anyone else see Doorey coming back next year as our breakout player? I was impressed with his ball running and offloading, although he wasn't fit at all. With a full offseason to work on his fitness and defense, I think he's a smokey to become the next Matto (a second rower who eventually transitions to the middle, and a quality player)

This is a player I hope improves, his attack and skill level is good and hope defence, defence and defence is all they learn this off-season. Imo these 2 things need big improvement for the team to become competitive. Ruck D, lay all over opponents until told to 'release' by ref - this getting off players quickly is bullshit and leaves our defensive line vulnerable as we're slow to reorganise and quick ptb's puts opponents D under pressure.

I am so pessimistic about the upcoming season that I’m desperate to roll the dice.

I’d go for JAC AND either Paps (think he’ll be too much) or Tracey.

I simply don’t accept we can’t afford or need to lose someone to do it.

Interestingly he states Bernie Gurr was the one who got him to Parra. He talks very highly of Bernie.

Great listen Gazza just finished it.

Interesting tidbits Moses said he struggled in 2020 because of a calf complaint the whole year. That was our best year as side with our Defence under BA but our attack was bog ordinary.

You could say if Moses wasnt struggling with that calf complaint all year niggling him we could have given that comp a shake that year. Penrith lost 1 game that year then the GF.

Also didnt help we lost our backline for a semi final. But explains why Moses was off for most of that season which probs didnt help Fergo either he was in a try drought for most of that season.

I don’t think so. With Kiraz recently extending and Blake Wilson also re-signing until the end of 2025 (a player that we were reportedly interested in) I think there is plenty of legs to this story. Also Gus doing the usual denials on twitter makes me think there is even more chance of it happening. He did it with every coach he has sacked and players he has moved on.
