Why dont the club actually acknowledge a past player when they pass away on there website.

It seems to me that the TCT are ones who actually do the heavy lifting with that stuff.

Quite piss poor if the club can't make an actual statement. And its happened in the past with other former players who passed TCT have acknowledged them but not the club.

Any player who played 1 FG game for the club who passes away should be acknowledged.

Unless its Paul Kent.

Waqa wasn't contracted for next year, so we probably already spent his salary. Hodgo retiring should return a salary cap saving even accounting for the player/s who replace him.

Release Momorovski and salary cap 8ncrease is $2,800,000

that’s Roosters cap accounting in a nutshell ( Gus is a disciple of similar accountancy)

Haha oh look we have to draw the line somewhere.

I suppose its just one thing that bugs me because i see other clubs acknowledge the past and seem to do a better job. Weather you like them or not.

And they use stuff like this for example once an Eel always an Eel would be the slogan.

All our FG players have an allocated player number already like the Baggy Green in Cricket so it shouldn't be hard.

I mentioned earlier this year the club should actually try and do some research and get to the bottom of some of the players in the 1940s & 1950s that don't have there first name recognised on the official player list.

Surely the club could go back through the archives and try get some of these players & there full names properly recognised.

Teddy would be on a mill. B.Smith 800k. I reckon Keary similar and Walker probably 600k. That's 3.2

Our spine would be about the same.

I'd be confident our forward pack costs a more. Whilst their 2-4 would cost more. I just don't think their squad is so good it couldn't be cap compliant.

I suspect at the point when Waqa was dropped to reserve grade mid-year, the conversation that he wasn't in our future plans was most likely had.
