This year JJBM averaged 80m and 17 tackles a game. Less than 1 tackle breaks per game, and only 3 offloads in 17 matches. Tackle efficiency not bad, but you'd be hoping for him to have more impact than that if he was to get a top 30 contract.

They are on more than they were this year. The others will be on much more than they were this year. Someone has to be earning less, so either we buy cheapies from other clubs (Harper) or we promote juniors (Talagi). I don't think buying expensive players from elsewhere is an option, considering we already have expensive players on the books.

In asking that question, are you inferring that Brad Arthur organised that work for teh player? If so look forward to evidence of why your inference is somehow more valid than mine...

And the Later JJBM has more upside than the first 2 players as well as a few others in our dev or top 30 squad.

All of the middles in the top 30 outplayed JJBM this year. The exception is Taumoepenu, who outplayed him in 2021 (when he was signed), and whose 2022 form was at least as good as JJBM's this year.

Every club would of seen him play and come thru the ranks. If he doesn't get a top 30 deal elsewhere it's safe to say we made the right call. If the Storm snap him up then I'd bet on we messed up.
The fact he isn't already snapped up by another club probably leans towards we made the correct call. If he hasn't landed one by the end of this year then I'd say nobody is that interested.

Lies Rodwell Matele both played in the middle and were both Behind him.
