I haven’t been correct or incorrect. I’m saying all these decision makers deserve the benefit of the doubt from people without all the facts.Probably do.. Once they win a competition I'll concede you have been correct all along until then our R&R have NFI about winning a competition
But also anyone who extended last year might not have seen an upgrade until this year, after their existing contract ran out. Upgrading a player’s final year of an existing contract is a way to benefit from unused cap space (essentially front loading the extension) but I suspect it’s much less common than backending the contract; essentially kicking the salary cap can down the road. This is how clubs can prolong a premiership window. We likely did this leading up to 2022.
And that unswerving belief in the ongoing capability of authority figures may in itself be - at least at times - incorrect

You replied to T.S Quint who said those players would have been upgraded. You questioned how they could’ve been upgraded if they weren’t off contract like Cartwright was. Ergo you conflated a contract upgrade with a same year extension. You probably also think Taumoepenu was signed into the top 30 based on his 2023 form. Don’t bother telling me what you really believe. You’re coming across as a bullshitter.
