Rumours and Stuff

Oh dear…

There’s whispers doing the rounds that after being shot in the head by us, Lee H and Brydens are looking to get entangled with the Eels.

Best of luck with that ladies.

I suggest you decline any offer no matter how generous.

Consider this post a community service.

Now back to regular eels programming.

@JokerEel you smelt the rat, well done lol.

It’s a f**king great rumour I’m going to perpetuate until gronk or bandy arrest me.

Mind you, I didn’t actually come up with it, it’s too sharp for my traffic cone mind.

Back on Parramatta talk i found it interesting on the TCT podcast with MON today that he mentioned the club took Harper & Tuilagi out for lunch on there 1st day at the club.

And both players made the comment they hadn't been shown this type of love or attention before during there career at other clubs by getting taken out to lunch for any occasion.
I think we learned our lesson after we failed to take Mahoney out to lunch and the Bulldogs got one over us with the Chinese succulent meal.

James Maloney was similar. A decent goal kicker for sure, but best of all, he was clutch, nailed them more often than not when his team needed him to....
Maloney is just a winner.

Has there been a place he went too where it wasn't successful.

Warriors made a GF, Roosters & Sharks won premierships.

You could argue Penrith benefitted from having him there for 2 years while he missed out on all the success.

I am sure that winning mentality he installed in 2018/2019 helped drive the dynasty in past 4 years.

Yeah I think even Catalans became formidable around the same time he went there...
