A small update:

Blaize Talagi is a gun and is expected to play some first grade this season. He is highly rated by the club but still needs to fill out.

Meanwhile Kelma Tuilagi has been the most impressive and somewhat a surprise and will be picked in our 17. The club is of the view that he will have a breakout season and already think that he has more skill than what Papali’i had when he initially arrived at our club.

It hurt us big time in the 22 GF, missed 1000 tackles that game. But being a poor defender is just accepted here, it’s in the
DNA.

The coach hasn’t been able to fix our disgusting edge defence for eons but here he is again earning big money while us fans have to watch continual ineptitude while the idiots in charge just think he needs a little more time to get it right. The joys of following a small little club with no money or resources.

less than 12 months later, the same at Parra. I like you guys but hate Parra and Im going to enjoy watching another break out season.

Based on his time at Tigers and Manly, his attack is great for about 8mins then CBF. His defence is pus 24/7.

Its possible a balder coach may get more out of him.

Mate, just stating facts. Could be that he has just lacked Parra fitness and Bea is the one who gets it out of him. Doesnt matter what I say, his performance will be the answer.

I was right about Joffa though (who I was a massive fan of and wished stayed at Tigers)....lets see how we go with Kelma.

Just for context.......Tigers fans (myself included) were filthy when he signed with Manly which was 2 games into 2022. His potential was apparent.

No one was upset he was leaving by the end of that season....in a season we won the spoon. He was terrible. Manly have now subsequently let him go 1 year into a 3 year contract.

Potential and ability is not the issue although having said that I have never seen any aptitude for defence.
