Bronx have elite talent in the spine and the middle. They will do well this year
They should be a top 4 side every year just like the Storm generally are.

I reckon its just as embarrassing for them to have not won a comp in 17/18 years as what it is for us in 37/38 years considering the leg ups and advantages they get over the rest of the comp.

They get 65/70% Friday Night games which allows perfect recovery time between matches for 6/7 day turnarounds which has been happening since 2007 when the 2 x Friday night games become a weekly staple.

They have had a whole city to themselves basically almost there entire existence except for the Crushers for a couple of years & now the Dolphins coming in to poach the best of the best in SEQ.

They have big backing in corporate sponsorships which Sydney clubs don't get. Which no doubt helps attract star players.

Another underrated factor is the cost of living is a bit cheaper in Brisbane then in Sydney which would be appealing to some players as well.

I am sure they are few other things as well.

But a club like Broncos should be winning 2 comps every decade i reckon with what they have at there disposal compared to everyone else.

Plus they have at least 1 and sometimes more home games than anyone else. Magic round, Pins take their home game against Broncs to Suncorp and sometimes other clubs take their home game up there (Manly for a few years a couple of seasons ago plus Souths I think).

NRL seem to favour them along with their other darling, the Roosters.

I said the same thing when they were coached by Benny, and my point was why didn't Benny have a million premierships to his name considering the cattle he had at this disposal ?

Walters doesnt coach the side.

2 blokes have already let it slip on podcasts he doesn't.

Reynolds is the coach with the game plan and organises everything.

Or Kevvie has to do is man-manage the roster with his dribble.

Yep that's what is being said.

Wayne Bennett's greatest achievement was getting a St George side who choked as much as us over the line with a premiership with a halves pairing of Ben Hornby & Jamie Sourpuss.

With what he had at Brisbane he did achieve basically what he should have with the squads he had in his 1st stint up there what 6 premierships in 20 years. Thats basically on average a premiership every 3 and half years.

Every merkin forgets that was the year Melbourne got busted. That's our fusken premiership that the Dragons got.

Cant help bad luck or shit timing.

If the NRL did its job or a whistle blower come forward 10 months earlier it would have been different.

I reckon 2010 was the year the Tigers actually blew it and should have won it more then 2005.

They butchered 2 semis in that finals series i am sure against the Roosters & Dragons.

I think it's a lot harder form them now then the 90early 2000s. Most clubs these days are professional. And there is 4 clubs in QLD now. Plus salary cap is for harder to take advantage of.

Are you one of us? Or a random broncos/tigers/panthers blow in? It's hard to tell these days.

You'd also have to think that it's far more common now for people to move around in life. Almost a lifestyle thing guys would enjoy. Living in Sydney.

I'm suprised Canberra aren't finding it easier to recruit as it's a far better city now then 20yrs ago.
