Cartwright, Matterson and Lane are all 29 and won’t turn 30 until after the end of the season. Makatoa isn’t in our top 17 if everyone is fit.
I can’t think of a time when we’ve had a stronger forward pack in the NRL era (at least on paper). Due to the quality of our forwards we shouldn’t have any “down time” like we did in 2022 after Paulo and RCG went off. A lot of our bench forwards would be starters at most other clubs.

I have heard enough coaches say that as much as that disrupts a club, the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

Latrell is the perfect example he never has a bad game.
