Our luck we’ll start the year on fire and then Madge will pick Moses, Gutho, RCG, Paulo, Carty and Penisini in origin, and Hoppy will be in the Qld team, and we’ll be f**ked post-origin

Moses, RCG & Hopgood would be only 3 out of that lot to play origin.

I think Madge will go with Moses/Cleary halves pairing.

Penisini is still 18 months to 2 years away from Origin level & Paulo Origin days are over.

I don't mind players getting picked for Origin but losing too many of them just affects your season and drains the petrol tank.

Tossing away 2-4 competition points in such a tight competition is madness.

Look at that crucial home game last year against the Wahs getting a few of the lads picked for a dead-rubber.

Imagine having Gutho, Moses & RCG in the side that night.

Do you reckon we get pumped by 40 at home.

No chance i reckon throw those 3 in and we win at Commbank.

I think if your players are getting picked as series picks, the benefits of a few weeks at that level outweighs them missing a couple of games. Especially if you know they are going to be picked and you can plan for that leading up to it.

Paulo Origin days are over.

If he plays like he did on the weekend for the next couple of months, he’s a shoe in

he has as much ability as any forward, he was just off the pace last year.

Which I don't think will help us at all they are all experienced have next level professionalism and what not that comes from playing for NSW.

You’d have to assume Tubbo & Haas are shoe-ins whether warranted or not. Probably leaves 2 spots, or potentially just 1 spot depending on how they go with Yeo/Murray, that’ll be given to either Junior, RCG or Saifitis.
