PACKED OUT PARRA

Parramatta is poised to create rugby league history by playing in front of four successive sellout crowds.

The Eels filled CommBank Stadium last weekend against Canterbury and will confront Penrith at a full BlueBet Stadium this Friday night.

Parramatta officials are then anticipating a further sellout against rivals Manly in round three and again against Wests Tigers on Easter Monday, both games being played at CommBank Stadium.

True. But whatever he has done with Bryce Cartwright is just astounding. I'd argue he has made Lane and Matterson much better forwards, too. But yeah, he's no magician.

He also turned RCG's career around, Wicks, reinvigorated Isaiah Papali'i's career...

If anything, I'd say he has a knack for getting the best out of his forwards.

Cartwright yes. How much was the coach and how much was it himself mentally? Talent was always there .

Got my ticket to all First 4 home games!

Cowboys won't be a sell out unless we are undefeated going into that game.

RCG and Wicks where very classy players bu needed a change. He never fixed Papali'i defense..
What about these guys

Ogden, Murchie,Moimesea, Rodwell, Tanginoa, Uelesai, Tepai Moera,Cody Nelson,
Rory O'Brien's, Matagi, Vave, Evans, Kafusi, Hipgrave...

Talented juniors - Mataele, Pauli Pauli , Hollis

I call throw enough darts and some come good.

We’ve all seen what he has to offer. He is big and strong and runs the ball very well, but lacks mobility in defence.

Yeah thanks champ.

What we need to see is can he sustain it and actually get better stamina wise and defensively how much of a liability will he be and what his actual worth is to our team and will he be worth persevering with as a successor to Junior or should we be looking elsewhere in this regard?

There are many nuances to what his overall development will mean to our immediate team performances and long term outcomes for the club as a whole. Look at the Dogs and Gould at the moment, they can't buy a decent palooka for love or money.

There are still many unanswered questions to how good or not he really is. Will he be like Blake Lawrie who showed me in his first few performances that there was a quality front rower there, but take a little longer to develop than I expected(due to bad coaching I think) or will he not kick on at all and be like so many other duds we had high expectations for but fizzled out in the end?

There is still a ? hanging over this guy, even though I think he is a good one I need to see more of him week in week out for at least a month or so to make a half decent assessment.

If you watch the replays of Rounds 1-13 and 23-26 of our games last year you will be able to see him coming off the bench in 9 games and starting in 8 games. This should be a big enough sample to make a half decent assessment.

Right now, Kelma, but later on if we don't need hands on the bench I would bring back Kelma. I like impact off the bench and he can deliver that.
Yeah, I think Hands will be the one to drop off or Lussick if his form deteriorates.

I didnt know but Hoppy was a hooker in his junior days so if he trains more there, the logical interchange will be:

So Hoppy gets a rest in the first set of interchange and then Carty => Lock and Kelma to edge
When Lussick has a break, Hoppy to hooker

Then it reverts to the starting lineup at the 60-65 min mark

So Hands is surplus unless Lussick loses form/injured/suspended and Hoppy stays on the park longer

Not shit at developing them but some.have this idea he is amazing at developing forwards. That's bullshit. Some have come good and plenty have failed. Strike rate with bringing junior forwards thru in his 11 yrs is horrendous.
Plenty of players just leave clubs and come good. They need a change. End of story. BA is no forwards magician.
Yeah that’s what I said. Arthur’s is shit at developing forwards. Everyone knows it. Look at Momoisea. Went backwards. In fact he’s not even a forward any more. His last four games were in the centres.

He got RCG an ex origin PROP playing well. Big achievement that one.
Matto was killing it at the Tigers. It's why we offered more money and he cried his way out of his contract.
Bryce was a weapon his first 2yrs in Penrith. Hardly a suprise packet ffs.
