Dom Young will make the biggest impact at the chooks since Cooper Cronk.

For the 1st time in a while the chooks have genuine speed out in the flanks. And they have the players to utilise his speed.

I tipped them to make the GF at the start of the year. Based on there 20 odd rep players finally gelling.

They look scary if there lunatic forwards in Radley, JWH and Spencer don't get themselves suspended at the backend I see them as Penrith's biggest challenger.

They deserved the 3 peat, my point remains that the MRC is baffling and Luai got off extremely lightly for a deliberate swinging forearm to the head of a player that had to leave the field. Dont nitpick to try and make something that wasn’t intended or there.

Lachlan Lewis which Ram was waxing lyrical about at the time. Ram might have good ideas occasionally but does come up with a few bloopers also, we all do at times looking at a small sample size of a player over one or a few matches. Guess this is why talent scouts or clubs get it wrong more often than not. But if you get enough players there might be a diamond amongst all the stones.

Talent will only get you part of the way, you need a strong mind, commitment and belief to get further along and perhaps mind coaches is what clubs need to employ when clubs select their talented juniors along with the other skills coaches. Maybe then there'll be more diamonds developed.

I can live with the refs making an error, they have a split second to make a decision and get it right most of the time. What gives me the yips big time is the video ref who, with all their technology available, are unable to get even the simple things right. Usually one look for me and the commentators confirms what we know, the video ref spends 5 minutes looking at every angle and comes up with the contrary decision. Get rid of them and get this blight out of the game imo.
