NRL apparently looking into removing high impact collisions by banning long drop outs, and no longer having kick offs after tries, just a 20m tap to restart play. Don’t want big 20m+ charges by forwards due to concussion risk

In that vein go from 10m neutral zone to a 5 m neutral zone. Same reason. The sport has become too hit up obsessed. If not enough room get ride of players. Make it 11.

Talagi is not fit enough yet or otherwise good enough but I’d get him into fullback at times to start working on his game there. The plan should be next season he is the FB and Guth is centre.

I just don't see where Blaize plays bar centre in 2025.
One thing about yesterday's game I did like was his step and speed. Another off season and 6 - 8 more kgs and he will be an absolute weapon.
Basically a bigger version of Dylan Brown.

I like how he tries to accelerate through half gaps

I saw a muppet wearing South Sydney jersey. Trying to be the random souths fan.

Nothing infuriates more then someone wearing a jersey of a team when that team isn't playing.

If I went to a neutral game I wouldn't be wearing a Parra jersey it's just ridiculous.

If he does sign does that mean Will Penisini moves to left centre? For mine Lomax can only play on the right....
Also is he potentially coming as a fullback? I know he was training with the Dragons in off season at stages in the fullback position?
Lomax fullback, Guth left centre?
None of these are bad options.
I'd then have Blaize as 14...covers basically all the backline options

We have 6 or 18 months left with BA.
His tenure will end this yr or next. Unless he wins the comp. Early days for this yr but unlikely....next yr probably won't know about an extension (and hopefully not) until rd 10-16...
The clock is ticking and his days are numbered...he needs a miracle

Only good thing about Lomax potentially coming here is he kicks goals at nearly 80% accuracy - better than Gutho.

He's a good player, but we don't need a right centre.

For mine Lomax is exactly what we need. Also adaptable if a shift in position is needed due to injury/suspension.

I wouldn’t pay him $800k, but have no doubt our club wouldn’t either, we’ve been happy to rule ourselves out of signings due to cost in the past.

I think it’s largely a done deal already - never has BA in press conferences openly spoken about a specific players recruitment and the process we’ve gone through.

on 360 they said MON called the dragons HoF again this morning before they’d even made public his release, so obviously we’d be told about it by Lomax’s manager already

Maybe he got one with Mitch being out most of the season. The decision makers at our club love to find an excuse.

His speed? Not sure I agree there. His defence needs work too.

But can see potential.
