Makes a lot of sense.
Makes sense wasn't what happened last night though
Makes a lot of sense.
Every tackle countsExcept Canberra scored most of their tries from long range
He was a fullback, kicked 742 goals in 13 years which is amazing.
He only scored 11 tries ? How can that be right ?

Keith Barnes played at the tail end of an era where fullback was an almost exclusively defensive position. Players like Thornett and Johns were part of a new breed of fullbacks who chimed into a backline movement and we're far more influential in attack. Also, Barnes was not especially fast. He was good enough to play for Australia, but could never be considered an attacking fullback. Hence the lack of tries. He was a fullback, kicked 742 goals in 13 years which is amazing.

A dude acting strangely in the Eastern suburbs? Are we sure it is NOT Dylan Brown?
Absolutely. Even if Moses isn’t our best player, he is our most important player.Absolutely noone: What do you think Tiger5150?
Tiger 5150: Without Moses kicking game, you guys are being forced to do more defence, from worse positions and less "easy" defence (pinning them on their line) and it all adds up.
When werr you guys having a quiet moment of saying that to each other...Ooh really???
That's not what you said btw
They also scored most of their tries after we were gassed.Except Canberra scored most of their tries from long range
Of course it is, its exactly what I said. If you have to do more defence, and more difficult defence from further down field than usual and as I explicitly said...it all adds up... then you are going to fatigue and lose shape and miss tackles from everywhere on teh field, in fact more likely up their end because the defeence is often staggered when chasing a kick compressed or shortened wingers have dropped back late in the count.Ooh really???
That's not what you said btw
What do you want him to do?
(I'm not saying he's good or bad - just curious as to why he warrants the rage)
For me, that dudes job is to make lots of $$, and spend lots of $$, and hold others accountable on the footy side of things.
He is making lots of $$ (tick)
I have no idea on the accountability side of things? We made a GF in 2022, so it's not unreasonable that Arthur is still in charge. However, one might also expect (after the debacle of last year) that there is a very clear expectation set for this year. If we don't comfortably make the 8, and nothing changes, then I think it's pretty clear the CEO has missed a trick.
But truly, what we want is a CEO who oversees the business, makes sure we are profitable (and with ever increasing revenues), and stays out of the football managers play-space. This is on MON and BA (currently).
They’re storks. Congrats mate. It’s tough, but worth it when they grow up. Just be consistent and remember, you are a parent, not a friend.
One big difference i see is we still have a quality halfback something we lacked in those years.
We had Mortimer, Kris Keating, Robson, Sandow, Luke Kelly, Ben Roberts.
If Moses plays 20+ games in a season we should be playing finals.
He only played 19 games last year and this year he wont get to 20.
We gassed the Tigers in the first half but they came out with a Tiger in their tank in the second. They must have topped up with 98 while we were at the E10 pump. They also scored most of their tries after we were gassed.

What I said makes sense wrt long range tries.

Two first half tries, a hundred second half triesAnother with NFI
Have they shown the game in WA yet?
