So is lomax’s signature meant to save Brad’s job, hence keeping him safe for this year? fk he is a slippery little sucker, happy to go down with the ship
Lomax Parra pay cut could open 'Pandora's Box'
'Might be getting paid somewhere else'wwos.nine.com.au
No he's not but i suppose i found it funny Gus is whining we might get him for a cheaper deal.Lomax isn't worth 800k
Lomax will be a 3 year deal around $500k per
Good chance he comes this year (4th year).
no chance it’s only $500k. NRL will say that is undervalued and block it given his deal for next year was to be close to $900k.
$650-$700k will be the lowest we get him for
If Lomax isn’t good enough to help the Dragons this year how could he possibly save Arthur’s job ffsSo is lomax’s signature meant to save Brad’s job, hence keeping him safe for this year? fk he is a slippery little sucker, happy to go down with the ship
I doubt Lomax would want to take a 40% pay cut either, but the NRL set a cap value for a player based on what they think his value is to a clubHow is it determined though?
Aren't we signing him as an outside back?
An outside back who makes 15+ runs every week is worth plenty, especially considering they are an 80 minute defender. I think $800k is probably too much for any of them but the best ones (which we are hoping Lomax becomes) are easily worth $650k or more. Add goal kicking tax and Lomax is worth $700k+How is it determined though?

Best post you’ve made this year.An outside back who makes 15+ runs every week is worth plenty, especially considering they are an 80 minute defender. Replying so those that have pou on ignore can see his best post of the yearAn outside back who makes 15+ runs every week is worth plenty, especially considering they are an 80 minute defender. No one actually has Pou on ignore.Replying so those that have pou on ignore can see his best post of the year
I do find it interesting though that our recent history has been “no leaks”, yet now we have articles about Lomax going to BAs houseIf Lomax isn’t good enough to help the Dragons this year how could he possibly save Arthur’s job ffs
My content is far too edutaining. No one actually has Pou on ignore.
The market changes in housing, money and other commodities. Why would a pissy NRL player market be exempt from fluctuations? Gould has a narrow view and won’t deviate from his little knowledge of the world and refuses to be told otherwise. If you ever needed proof Gus absolutely hates Parra, I think that article shows it. He’s done far worse as Dogs GM.

If Lomax’s own self awareness accepts that he is only worth $650k (the commodity in this instance) why would the NRL salary cap auditor think otherwise? The present market is the market. What was paid in the past is irrelevant especially when the current contract has been terminated.
Exactly. Why should one club suffer just because a different club got bent over in negotiations. He hasn’t even played proper rep footy, if we pay him anything over 500 we should get refunded the difference on our salary cap.How is it determined though?
Some sort of formula they punch into a computer?
Or base it off public figure/media opinions?
The club submits the contract and any third party deal to the NRL. The NRL then registers the contract. How is it determined though?
