Does anyone think AMS debut was better or Blaize's.

Defensively, i thought AMS was better and I think he could be a winger sometime next year. It's unfortunate he got injured

Not sure what game you were watching AMS defense was not good at all ...

In saying that Blaize needs to do some work he really needs to watch RTS and Joey Manu at centre

What About Bennett as coach for 2 years and BA as his understudy to retake over in 2026.
Hopefully, 2 years of advanced coach training from Wayne will help in progress

Get rid of the foul stench of BA from this club.

He's had his chance.

The fact the clown is our longest-serving coach is depressing - but astonishingly apt, given how scared we are to make tough calls to be a dominant force once again.

The market changes in housing, money and other commodities. Why would a pissy NRL player market be exempt from fluctuations? Gould has a narrow view and won’t deviate from his little knowledge of the world and refuses to be told otherwise.

If Lomax’s own self awareness accepts that he is only worth $650k (the commodity in this instance) why would the NRL salary cap auditor think otherwise? The present market is the market. What was paid in the past is irrelevant especially when the current contract has been terminated.
Every journo has been saying the STG paid him "fullback money" but it didn't work out.

Unless O'Neil goes too, its going to be no different.

They need to both go.

But neither will.

Sarantinos and the board will not pay out a coach.
What’s the likelihood that the payout is worth any perceived benefit of bringing in a new football manager and coach? It’s not exactly something that can be measured.

Serious question - do you ever make a decision in your job or daily life? Because it’s fascinating that you can’t even commit an opinion to a possible change of coach, roster or admin

An outside back who makes 15+ runs every week is worth plenty, especially considering they are an 80 minute defender. I think $800k is probably too much for any of them but the best ones (which we are hoping Lomax becomes) are easily worth $650k or more. Add goal kicking tax and Lomax is worth $700k+

Or looking at the large sample size and not his small 5 game sample size of this year only and the fact that he was rated as the 20 something "best" centre in the NRL overall by his current coach on stats and that he hasn't fulfilled the early potential and rep honours that so many had predicted for him by now by a long shot and his erratic play and massive clangers when playing which have cruelled his team at times, well I would say his notional value, if you were being fair dinkum would be somewhere closer to $350-400K.

But sure you value him whichever way you like.
