Whatever the case, he was 21 that year. Plenty of NRL players were in reserve grade at 21. It’s part of the development cycle.

If not good I'd start picking the kids. Give players like Morreti 45min stints etc. Blaize into centre.

He thought he was a 5/8 but Robbo told him his future was in the back row, to be fair apparently our club told him the same thing and he wasn't happy.

I've been told he still wasn't happy to hear it from Robbo, but hearing the same thing from two different clubs made him realise that perhaps they were right.

I'd like us to utilise Matterson's (and Cartwright's) skills more - these are not just run-of-the-mill back-rowers, but they have skill.
