I remember him being the next Paul GallenI remember tom humble called the next Darren Lockyer
Wingers generally aren't left one-on-one with their opposing winger either. They usually jam in while the inside defenders cover behind them. You see this in every team. You must have fullback confused with winger...
*LomaxSunia Turuva signed with the Tigers. But don’t worry, MON and BA looking at “value signings from the Z grade in the French League. f**king hopeless they are.
Access to below market rate investment opportunities in Melbourne real estate?Which is very strange that Storm can keep them happy whereas most other teams can't keep their talented players if not in fg. What is their secret? Not shades of 2008 and nearby years I hope.
I agree Matterson is a better defender but Hopgood is a very good attacking forward.Unpopular opinion - I've never been a big fan of Hopgood.
Throws a good offload, works hard - but his defence is average.
Matto is twice the player he is, imo.
However, give it a few years, and Hopgood could be the best 13 in the game - but he's not there yet.

He was still very young, he had time to developYep, but he had one move. Step off the same foot. Not hard for NRL players to defend. Struggled to pass in both directions. Looked like he never learned the basics coz he got to bully kids smaller than him as he went through the grades.
Obviously. Many player traits are useful in both attack and defence, so a player who is fast, strong, agile, fit and smart is likely to be good at both attack and defence. It's at the bottom of the roster where players usually have the greatest disparity between strengths and weaknesses, plus halfbacks (lacking strength) and front rowers (lacking mobility) are more likely to be poor defenders because they are in the team for their attack.Defense is also related to attack.
I don't think backs get sufficiently fatigued during games for it to matter. That's why they all play 80 minutes. The better you attack generally the more ball you will have and better territory. You'll also gas the opposition. And not only physical but also mentally. Just doing 5 hit ups and a bomb won't have the opposition guessing. It can still be physically draining but not for the backs who remain fresh and ready to come at you in attack.
Except for a brief period a few years ago, the Broncos have always had better players than the other sides.Sides like Brisbane are constantly asking questions and making breaks. They have you mentally exhausted and physically. So when you do have the ball your attack suffers which makes their defense look better.
I agree, but this requires good defence to start with.So don't think for a second defense isn't related to attack or vice versa. It is all related. If you have good defense you able to take more risks in attack knowing if lost possession you can defend your line etc.
That's because it suits our strengths; big forwards and Moses' kicking game. You can't have everything, which is why teams' game plans are all different.Currently we have both shit attack and defense.A lot of our tries come from a bit of luck or physically tiring the side rather then a nice backline sweep or clever ball movement. Of course every side scores from this also but the good ones are able to create tries out of nothing. We very rarely create a simple overlap or bust up the middle.
Now you're telling 'every one' how to run an NRL club? I'm tipping they all already know. And this above every one is how you run a club that doesn't win an NRL premiership and is currently sitting 14th
Now you're telling 'every one' how to run an NRL club? You merkins are geniuses.
I'm not stopping you. Unless you f**k off like all the good posters. Is anyone else allowed to post around here?

ChatGPT clearly a Knights fanIf the Eels sign any of the below merkins we know that MON uses chat gtp...
Based on the current market and the Parramatta Eels’ needs, here are some players they could consider signing:
- David Armstrong: A versatile player who could add depth to the backline or play in the halves if needed.
- Thomas Cant: Known for his strong defensive skills, which could be beneficial for the Eels’ forward pack.
- Mat Croker: A promising prop who could provide the much-needed front row depth.
- Dane Gagai: An experienced centre that could strengthen the Eels’ backline.
- Tyson Gamble: A halfback with a good kicking game, which could be useful for the Eels’ playmaking options.
- Zach Herring: A hooker who could compete for the No. 9 jersey and provide depth in the crucial hooker role.
- Brodie Jones: A second-rower known for his work rate and could add to the Eels’ edge forward options.
- Krystian Mapapalangi: A young talent who could develop into a valuable asset for the Eels.
- Myles Martin: A utility player who could cover several positions and add versatility to the squad.
- Fletcher Meyers: A strong forward who could bolster the Eels’ pack.
- Laitia Moceidreke: A winger with good finishing skills, which could be an asset for the Eels’ attack.
- Enari Tuala: A centre with the ability to break the line and add an attacking threat.
- Toni Tupouniua: A forward with potential, who could add depth to the Eels’ forward rotation.

f**k of merkinWhy did you personalise it?
You clearly think you post too much and in a detrimental fashion to discussion. That might or might not be a fair self-observation you make.
I wonder what others think, let's hear from them.
Does chat gpt think we are merging with the Knights? If the Eels sign any of the below merkins we know that MON uses chat gtp...
