That is two players (Simona/Gambling, Lovett/Cocaine) now that the Tigers have tried to parcel off to other clubs while likely in the knowledge of looming criminal charges. Quality work from a NRL governed club.

Quality player....will (potentially) serve a ban and need a lifeline. We're pretty good with lifelines....
If they knew about this they didn't need to punt him. If the NRL cancels his registration his whole contract is off their cap. I wonder if the Tigers were the ones who dobbed him in.wow if they *allegedly* knew about this and tried to punt him before it all came out that's a low act
what about his new club who just paid for a player and are left with nothing?

why do you think criminal charges are likely? That is two players (Simona/Gambling, Lovett/Cocaine) now that the Tigers have tried to parcel off to other clubs while likely in the knowledge of looming criminal charges. Quality work from a NRL governed club.
IIRC a jockey or trainer can be warned off from race tracks by a court. But thats the scope of police involvement.why do you think criminal charges are likely?
this seems to be a breach of the NRL's rules on players betting seeing it was the NRL who released this and not the police
probably just something similar to when the Wolfman had a bet on himself to be the top try scorer

I think you will find that's because horse racing is legislated in each state and has legal rules in place.
The NRL (and proabably every other sport) just makes up their own rules.
