Haven't been there for maybe 10 years, I'm assured by a local mate it is still as good as it ever was.
I saw Eels forward Nathan Brown (at the time) with his missus and father in law when I went there once.

Who would want him seriously.

Imagine if some of these clubs did IQ tests for some of these players the results would be quite alarming.

I haven't recalled a more dumber move then someone who is on 750k a season walk away and pursue boxing only to then get flogged 8 months later and begging for a return to the NRL.
i worked with a bloke once that said he wasn't very smart but he could lift heavy thing's

Its a small thing but why havent the club released anything as of yet in a statement.

Its been on the radio this morning that he passed away.

Considering i looked him up on google to find out what he did for the club he was on the Parramatta Hall of Fame. Was captain/coach and played for Australia/NSW and played 194 games for the club.

I would have thought a press release & club tribute for the man would have been done this morning.

Yesterday is understandable being a Sunday & mothers day. And maybe the family maybe not wanting it.

Hopefully the club release something later on today.

But yeah seems like we are always asleep at the wheel with these little things.

Terry Hill passed away 3 weeks ago and all of his former clubs had a statement/tribute within 2-3 hours after it became public.

Thanks mate

I noticed this part in the article

In 1963, Ron was a member of the Parramatta team who played a historic game against South Africa at Cumberland Oval, winning 39 to 18.

In that same year, Lynch would score one of the luckiest tries recorded to put the club in their first preliminary final. He would later say it was a ‘million to one chance’.

Anyone around to see this try @Gazzamatta were you there. Million to one chance cant help getting good luck in a semi final match.

Agree.

There honestly has to be more to the story. I just don’t buy he walked away to be a fighter.

It doesn’t mean I don’t want us to win. I just know it’s not possible every week, or even more than half the time every year. We aren’t the Storm, and sacking merkins isn’t going to turn the club into something it’s not.
It's not possible to win more than half the time? lol

I don't really understand why we should be excited that they tried for some of the game, but still get pumped 13+ ?

Ok, so our main attacking weapon is out, but trying hard and keeping to the defensive structures, trusting each other and the system should really see a team scoring less than 30? It's happened once in 5 weeks...

Anyway, this week it looks like Moses might be back. So no excuse to lose to an understrength Storm
My take is we’re about a month behind. If they put that effort in with similar result versus Canbra, under the circumstances I think most would say that’s fine, build on result vs Cows then take that effort to Darwin. Then at least if results go against us there’s more onus on if it’s BA’s tactics or backup players not being able to step up.
A month is too long to give competition headstart. Would’ve thought we learnt that last season…

Please give me some recommendations in Sydney.
Depends on what you want. Indian restaurants differ by the type of occasion and cuisine

Sit down hi-end
Urban Tadka Terrey Hills
Don't tell Aunty Surry Hills
Manjit's Wharf Cockle Bay
Maharaja's Haveli Dural

Harris Park/Parramatta
Sarvana Bhavan Parramatta
A2B Harris Park
Chatkazz Harris Park
Hyderabad House Harris Park - Famous for Biryani
Pista House Harris park - Famous for Biryani
Tikka Corner - Indian/Pakistani style sheekh kebab

Blacktown
Radhe
Mittran da Dhaba
Ambarsariya - Seven Hills - Food specialising in the actual food of Punjab and city of Amritsar

Indian food trucks are becoming popular in Indian community because of Sydney's rent prices pushing up food prices. You actually don't need to sit in a restaurant in Harris Park anymore. There's popup restaurants on Wigram St.
