It’s not even about Blaize as an individual. If we are going to plough big money into Moses, Brown etc then we need young hot boys to be coming through on cheaper deals. The Harpers of the world aren’t going to cut it. Add to that Blaize can probably cover multiple positions ( unlike Sanders), we can’t afford to be losing juniors like that that we have developed.
We probably can’t afford to overpay them either.

They chose Isaac Moses to represent them, and he is obliged to present every offer to the player. If he rejected our earlier offers it was based on advice from the manager, not because we didn’t want him.

That could be very true.

I just get the feeling we have sat on our hands.

All we can do is speculate

Drown is an exceptional talent. Sanders has a lot to show before you can even compare him to drown

Brown is a wasted talent at Parra.

He needed/needs a Bellamy, or even Robinson or Flanagan type of coach that can teach him how to play 5/8th properly. Potates doesn't possess those types of skills. Brown is not a self motivated student of the game and it shows right now more then ever without Moses there to run the side. Brown has all the necessary skills to be a great 7, but his inability to work hard at it has kept him from maturing into a thinking player and he mainly just plays off the cuff still. When he tries to manage at the moment, he is almost clueless and struggles to break down sides correctly.

He lacks the knowledge and or intuition of what to do next in a game and what's next next after that and then what's next after that to get an outcome 2 or three plays or even sets down the line. This isn't a skill it is a study thing and thousands of hours or training. Just ask Cooper Cronk how he got to where he is and all the work he is putting into Walker at the Roosters to get him to think ahead and how to play for it. The flashy stuff comes once you have broken down your opposition not before like how Brown is forever trying to force an outcome before it's possible and fails dreadfully and then the whole team lose confidence drop their heads and we end up getting blown away once the fatigue sets in.

His lack of management skills is a big contributor to our physical fatigue in games. Great playmakers sense exactly how their teams are feeling and adjust the immediate tactics to suit. He has no idea how to pace the game or feel for its heartbeat to suit our boys. I'm not excusing our R&R it has been diabolical but they can be helped out a lot if we ran with the right tactics and out there on the field that responsibility squarely falls on the chief playmaker who currently is a dumb dumb.

It shouldn't be all that hard for him because he has so much talent, speed and power that if he ever grows into the player he could be would be an outstanding 7, but c'est la vie. It is Parra after all and we all know by now we are cursed and will never win another premiership in our lifetime. He will probably end up at the Roosters in a year or two anyway and they can/will fix him.

He is. That's true. But with a halfback (Moses) who is a kicker and runner first and foremost, I'd prefer a traditional halfback to partner him. I still see Moses as a five-eight. I reckon we've got two five-eights. It limits the ways in which we can attack. That's why, for that first game with Sanders in, our attack looked way more dynamic.
Or was it because we were up against Manly, a bottom six defensive side?

Has been the only one genuinely putting in each week IMO. Hasn't brained it but his efforts cannot be questioned unlike plenty of his comrades...

Defensive effort has never been his issue and in fact he is probably the best defensive half in the game. It's his options with ball in hand that are questionable, not that he isn't trying with ball in hand, he is. But he hasn't the understanding of what's needed or how to get there, which can only come from training for thousands of hours repetition style to nail it under fatigue at NRL level and for all the players around him to have nailed it too. Otherwise you just wing it which is what they are all doing out there.

It's so bleeding obvious open your eyes. I only have to watch 5-10 mins and it tells me how we will be playing.

Our pathways are absolute garbage and we couldn’t developed a turd from a well fed dogs arse………….

But but but but but we had a Clayton’s review and we are now a development club. so we should trust in the process and the people running the club they know far more than any of us so we have no right to comment or judge them. And Bea Arthur has only been here 11 seasons what do you expect him to do in such a short space of time??? It’s only been 38 years since our last GF win we should all stop being so impatient.
The guy that did the review couldnt get out quick enough or someone couldnt get him out quick enough. I bet Georgalis is looking over his shoulder.

“Hynes’ team is on top of the table, where’s Parra?”

What a f**ken dope. We were going fine until we lost Moses. That shows how good he is.
You know what a dog-hungry group of players should do after hearing those comments from the cheese about Parra. Next time we play the roosters mark it down to prove a point we wont be copping shit from an opposition player and use it as motivation to light a fuse inside the group.

But knowing our softly group we will roll over and ignore what was said anyway not giving 2 hoots.

Players are too professional these days to care about things they don't control.

How good is he? Makes a couple of good runs here and there but otherwise he is outplayed by Klemmer nearly every week. Utoikamanu has potential but he is far from an elite forward.
Utoikamanu was an “acceptable” loss at the time because the chances of him being better than Paulo/RCG were slim and so his value at the time to us wasn’t in line with what Wigers could give him. And for the first 2 years that was correct. The problem is his replacement for us (Greig) hasn’t kicked on for whatever reason.

This pack of soft serves will roll over and piss themselves as soon as someone shouts collision.

On the plus side, at least shit clubs aren’t offering him overs.

We really weren't top of the table stuff though... even youd have to admit there wasn't an 80min effort there prior to Moses injury.

He has a point about picking Hynes over Moses for game 1.
