I see that in the deal Segeyaro will go to Leeds and Zak Hardaker will move to the Panthers, which is an interesting buy for them. Hardaker is a fullback, so you'd think that they will have to move Moylan to Five-eighth.

Yes strange move, Hardaker is a good player but the last couple of english fullbacks that come over here didn't do much, maybe play him in the forwards....

I probably worded the first post wrong when I said "I doubt the latter is any chance of happening". What I meant by that was, I don't actually knwo how much he's due to get paid next year and the year after, but I assume it's more than 450-500K...

Just had a quick look at his stats, seems be making approx 100 m a game and 15 or so tackles.

Seems like he could be a good project player for BA. Maybe with some better fitness he could have further inprovement in him.

Wouldn't mind keeping O'brien for another year too. Yeah he hasn't set the world on fire yet, but hasn't been terrible either. Seems mobile enough, and is definitely a big boy. Potentially has more improvement too. Still young for a prop.

Zak Hardakker looks like a very good pickup by the Panthers if you ask me. He is big, strong, fast and can pass. Everything you look for in a fullback/centre.

I wish we were in a position to have picked him up.

The point is, if we could reach consensus on his value using the same metrics (salary cap divided by 25 equals mean salary, plus consideration of minimum salary) then surely the club and player can come to consensus. In fact we know they did because Jennings signed. But why would they come to much different consensus to us here? Given the salary cap constraints are known values?

I remember he was on $600K when he was at the Panthers and that was about ten years ago. He must be on a shitload now.
