Mate of mine reckons Arthur Miller Stephen has got what it takes to be a fullback. Rates him highly and has seen him go through the grades.
I reckon an interesting situation developing at Canberra.
Kaeo Weekes looks to have the fullback spot but they also have Chevy Stewart and Albert Hopoate.
Stewart, Nulla jnr who moved to bleak Canberra..started off the season well.
Now Sanders is going there.
Strange surely has a lock on the 5/8 spot.
Now he's also brought in Cook.
Cook, Sanders and Strange all left footers.
Is Sanders better than Strange? No.
They need Fogarty at 7 for his guidance and experience and pretty good goal kicking
Plus the added negative of having P.Ricky as the coach..
I would be getting the first bus, train, uber out of Canberra if I'm Weekes or Stewart.
Either of them would be excellent pickups

Matt Burton wasn't a specialist centre either. Neither is Talagi.
Burton was playing in First Grade wherever he could while at Penrith, was to good for Reserve Grade. Talagi who cares where he was playing. My point is Penrith are down on troops and experience out wide. Peachey is far from First grade now and ASU could be an option as a bench player.

Yet Peachey is top 30 and Casey McLean isn't. This proves false the assertion that player 30 is in some elite group while player 31 isn't fit to tie player 30's shoes. Therefore criticism of our club for failing to sign these elite players 27 to 30 is complete bullshit. There are players on development contracts who can do a better job, as proven by Cleary's team selections at Penrith.

Back again, getting a few posts in before bed time. School tomorrow, a warm milo before bed???
I see you are still Salty after the loss. I can’t help pointing out the truth. Even the Ref tried to help you blokes, 9-3 penalty count I believe. Just be happy that you have lost to the games best team of the modern era.

Why do Penrith need Casey in the Top 30 this year? Just proves Ivan is a Master Coach. Peachey is a squad filler, Casey was on minimum wage and is getting game time without to much attention.

All Parra did with a young player like Blaize was put him in the shop window before he resigned with Parra. Now, how did that turn out?

Likewise, why does our club need to bring nuffies like Tago and Keir into the top 30 just to satisfy some rule. Would it have made it any easier to cope with our injury toll?

Every club needs to fill the top 30 roster, who they bring in is up to them. However, after round 10, teams can pick development players anyway.

Without those Penalties, Penrith probably run away with the game. Like I have said before, I thought Parra played quite well, but a 9-3 penalty count against away from home seems like a red flag.

Probably shouldn't give away so many penalties..

Penrith were poorly disciplined on Friday night. Lots of errors balls hitting the ground.
