Just like the Panthers, we made a huge change. But where they went out and got a huge funding injection from James Packer, we changed our constitution to increase stability on our boards. Why would he have trained as a hooker when there was an up and coming family member being groomed?

I think it was the halftime summary from the sheds. Instructions from TB. He wanted more pressure on the Brisbane (Reynolds) kicker.
I guess you can't have it both ways.

As for Hands, I actually think he would be a more than competent No 9 if he was surrounded by a better squad and a better performing team. Some can be harsh critics here. He's not as bad as some people think.
I'd back him in a better squad to be our 9.

My birdies tell me he did spent most of the offseason training at hooker......and I don't think you can read to much into NSW cup positions....

Completely agree but one thing I'd like to see him do more of is back himself. I think he second guesses himself

I think you absolutely can read plenty from the fact that the head coach essentially had you behind his son in reserve grade, and how that plays out in preseason. But you keep fighting the good fight.
