How can you say with certainty that they aren’t cheating the cap? Every team could be cheating and we’d never know unless there was a whistleblower. Maloney admitted in an interview a few years back that he was waiting for the club to sort out a sponsorship which I believe would’ve been cheating, have they stopped this practice?

They paid a huge salary to their star player’s dad when they were trying to re-sign him.

They keep shedding key players. Api, Kikau, Crichton and now Luai being the big ones.

Maybe they weren’t key players? They still had five merkins picked in Origin this year, and that’s with Cleary unavailable. Losing players from an overpowered team doesn’t mean you’re not cheating the cap. Last time any team was even close to being this dominant they were found to be cheating.

Your probably right....but I still reckon there are the odd occasions where they just don't over analyse and take a punt
