Sorry mate, but I disagree completely. Players know from day 1 that they can't bet on the NRL, let alone on games they are involved in. The whole credibility of the game is in question. If you place a bet on a game you're involved in, or have some other influence on a bet on a game your involved in, that's it.

The charity stuff is truly appalling behaviour, and there are no excuses for that.

Fair do's. We don't actually know that he has a life ban yet. They just deregistered him, and said it was very unlikely that he'd be welcomed back, I thought.
