The NRL didn't allow Souths back in the comp. The High Court did.

Souths and Manly were out of the competition in 2000 & 2001.

For some reason it felt like the competition was cleansed during that period without those 2 pissant clubs running around.

That was back in the days when I didn’t mind Souffs that much.
They were just the whipping boys of the comp and were mostly a laughing stock.

It was when Crowe and Co took over that I began to dislike them quite a bit. George Piggins especially was embarrassing. Such a bitter old merkin.

I don't think the Wests Tigers have made the finals in his lifetime.
