Did you actually read what I said? Based on Ryles recruitment so far his only recruit of note is JAC, all the rest being on potential. Blows your argument out of the water.

As espoused elsewhere where I and others believes that the pathways, although not a coach's direct responsibility, but he has to have input. Such as full time-part time coaches (Ryles obviously wanted full-time), training methods, integration with NRL squad, etc where they can seamlessly slot into NRL team already knowing the tactics and calls. Wouldn't be surprised if he even sat on selection panel for young players inputting his preference for type of athlete he wants for each position.
