Rumours and Stuff

That is true if the NRL de-registers the player. But if you just get suspended for, say, 12 weeks, the club still has to pay the player and the payments affect the cap. The club can then fine the player in accordance with their contract, but the fine doesn't reduce the cap expenditure.
Yeah, I should've said deregistered.

It doesn't matter how good a player is out of dummy half. If they're unreliable in defence they can't play hooker. The Panthers got rid of Segeyaro for the same reason.

I get the feeling Matt Keating would've been a bit more popular if we had better halves 5 years ago. I think he might have been the sort of player that BA might have liked.

These statistics would indicate that Segeyaro is as good a defender as our first choice player in the 9 for 2017...

Obviously Segeyaro is also far superior in attack

Character is the issue for BA regarding Segyaro.

In any case, he's not coming to Parra. If we don't sign someone else, Cameron King will be our next 9, Kaysa will stay coming off the bench even after IDG retires at the end of next season (either officially or for all intents and purposes).

Which is strange for the Panthers because no other club likes the hyphenated surname more then them.

ZDC (Docker-Clay)
DWZ (Watane Zelezniak)
JFH (Fischer-Harris)
RCG (Campbell-Gillard)

Obviously, about 25 years ago bogans decided to adopt the double-barrelled surname lark, which had previously been restricted to the Dover Heights set. Or maybe it's a Kiwi/Islander thing, Cuz?

I'm loving this Penrith talk - Feels like my seeds are starting to grow.

Rein would not of cost a whole lot IMO. Would of been a similar scenario to Benji.

What, so he wanted more than St George was willing to pay, then he goes to Penrith on the cheap? I don't think so.
