I thought Fifita withdrew when he realised that a large part of the "promised" amount was made up of unguaranteed 3rd party payments, in other words the Dogs were offering less then the initially agreed amount.

I still don't think we need Framk Pritchard, unless he's playing for minimum wage - and signed just so he can have a final year in the same club as Kaysa, rather than retire?

Unless he's been signed so that we can agree to a release sought by an existing forward, which seems unlikely.

That's the only thing I can think of because the squad is becoming a bit top heavy with forwards and, take with a pinch of salt, we've also been linked to Matagi and Pulu... I can't really imagine BA looking at so many other options unless 1 or 2 already with us have been sounded out by other clubs (in AU or UK) and we are entertaining letting them go if we can get suitable replacements

Pritchard adds some attack/size to our middle. Our edge is pretty dangerous with our back rowers / centres and scoring freaks in semi / French.

But our middle is more tradesmen like. We probably don't attack much in the middle as some other sides do.

However if we add Pritchard / brown and vava suddenly our middle is looking very good, attack wise. Plus we add more size.

Also don't forget halves can be improved simply by improving your forward pack. Which is what BA is trying to do rather then spend big on another half.

We lost 3 top 17 forwards last year in watmough / Paulo / peats which weren't replaced during the year. We have only signed Brown / Vava.

Pritchard is probably still worth about $250k IMO.
