Defense has gone from
1. bad reads and rushing up with misses.
2.Good reads and less misses but not hitting hard.
3.Hitting hard and dominating in tackles and rarely missing.

Attack only this year has started to improve in last month.
Maybe if they left their wives off the park altogether they will improve.

You could be right but why wait until the 11th hour?
Beavis is probably working around the clock to see if any other offers are even a remote possibility of coming through up until the deadline... An unlikely scenario perhaps but I'm sure they're sounding out all potential suitors - especially if Hayne is as unhappy at the GC as has been reported in the past couple of months...

Since back from injury French has been very poor and I think he is worried about his knee. Once he gets confidence back in it he will improve but currently he is making little difference in our attack. A few weeks in Wenty might be all he needs and it won't hurt him.

"Very poor"?
You're definition of "very poor" must differ to mine. Sure, he hasn't been his normal dynamic self, but he's been safe and hasn't made any real mistakes. I'd say he's been solid - not bad but far from being a stand-out.

Justin Hunt was "very poor" for us in his one game in the top grade. Bevan hasn't been anywhere near that bad.

I'll throw a curve ball at you. Paul Carter. A Grade Merkin but the kid can play. Very decent hooker signing if he could avoid being a knob.

Roosters are off him, even with Origin he will be playing for Wyong and remains un signed for 2018.

Worth throwing him a training/attitude based contract and see what BA can do with him?

Good talented player, but is a goose!!

However I reckon he is the style of player we need, someone that can play hooker and backrow.

Pritchard obviously benefits from not playing 80 minutes but it is also a waste having a specialist hooker on the bench to play 15 or so minutes.

Can't see it happening however, he has probably blown his NRL career!!

Can Kasya fitness improve or that is as best as will ever be?

Exactly my point. Is a hooker/backrower and the bloke CAN play.

He was on his last chance at Roosters but clearly not in their plans so no issues playing NRL contract wise.

Anyway, my point is... Low value contract, good talent and tough, backup for Kaysa, we need someone there...

Vave also could fill in at hooker. Doesn't mean he should
Well Carter at GC was their utility hooker off the bench and started his 3 games at roosters this year at hooker. Does well there but is more a backrowers body these days

Haha, all good! It was actually jarring writing down his age in the blog. Tepai has been in first grade so long now that you easily forget how young he is.
