I didnt get to see Twal. I see him as a potential Woods clone. But people say he lacked any leg drive.
He has made the isp team of week 7 times this season which is impressive considering Wenty where not going great.
BA knows him better then us and what he is worth. Who knows what the tigers paid.

I read today Brown cost 170k. If true that is a bargain. I would of guessed 250k.
I imagine Twal and fuimano earnt close to 150k deals.

Alvaro has played a few very good games, but is very inconsistent imo, and is only in the 17 due to injuries and the fact that Wicks unexpectedly left early.

I am hoping that's a good thing as we are now recruiting in a smart way with no leaks, but I have to ask if we're actively recruiting?

there was no bet made, you carried on like a complete idiot about it..

there's a simple a solution to this, I can introduce to BA and you can tell him he made a massive error of judgement based on 1 game of against the team coming last or you can go and support the west tigers because clearly you're finding it difficult to grasp the fact that he's left the club.

I've always stuck up for Arthur from the beginning, and have supported his team management.

But if there's one thing I was concerned about, it was the Jnr forwards coming through, and I would have liked for Twal to be given a chance. It's done and dusted.

Look if the Tigers offered him an NRL spot good luck to him, but I was hoping he would stay.

Staggs had his opinion that Twal wasn't destined, I had another opinion.

Staggs had a strong opinion to prove himself right when I mentioned Twal should be given a chance months back, and that's why I took a chip at him today.

We already have 20 contracted for next year, and the only ones who haven't played first grade this year are IDG and Jack Morris. De Gois will likely retire and Morris will be on minimum salary.

Is it a squad of 30 next year? That leaves us 10-11 players left to sign. There will likely be another one or two top 17 forwards to come with the rest being backups. We might have already re-signed any of these merkins and just not announced it:

I am an Alvaro critic. I watch him closely and I think he is learnng and changing his game. He steps a little before hitting line and is pumping his legs more on contact.
His defense is better then Browns though.

Mannah just looks old.Sure he is only 29. Will be 30 start of next season but he has been bashed in first grade since 20. A lot of props do not reach grade till 22.
He could be playing injured and needs a spell once get troops back.

Who do you want out of our top 17 to replace? A hooker maybe? And another prop?

If meehan come good and king then I am not sure we need anything but time to gel.

Gower will be 32. But he is moving very good. I have not seena decline. And only had limited first grade. His bodies fine. If he wants to be a back up id give him a year. Very handy.

Niakuore sounds promising and should be high on list.

I agree we have not much in the way of front rowers and I not convinced evans is going to be anything to get the wow factor happening next year. woulda liked to see twal get a go. can't be worse than mannah or O'Brien. we need a good prop for next year yeah
